What began as a neighbourhood storefront has grown into one of Canada's most trusted sources for professional-grade supplies — now shipping worldwide from our warehouse in Markham, Ontario.

From the very beginning, we've believed that the right materials make a real difference. That's why we've always been selective about what we carry. Our shelves — and our website — are stocked with the brands that working artists, illustrators, and educators rely on: Daniel Smith, Winsor & Newton, Holbein, Schmincke, PanPastel, and Bob Ross, among others. We don't carry everything — we carry the best.

Every product we stock has been chosen because it meets the standard we'd hold ourselves to as artists. If it's on our site, we stand behind it.

I'm Tamar Citak, and I'm proud to be the steward of Studio Six today. When I think about what this store has meant to generations of Canadian artists — the painters who found their first tube of Daniel Smith here, the students who discovered Schmincke watercolours, the professionals who trust us to keep their studios stocked — I feel the weight of that responsibility, and I love it.
