The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has announced it intends to begin a national strike on Friday, November 15 at 12:01 a.m. ET.
What does this mean for my shipments with Studio Six? Shipments that were sent prior to Friday, November 15, 2024 will have delays. Please keep track via the tracking number that was e-mailed with the order for any updates.
All new shipments will be sent via Purolator, Canpar, UPS or FedEx. All shipments that select any of the Canada Post services will automatically be moved to an alternative courier with tracking confirmation. If we are unable to find a courier company with comparable shipping rates from Canada Post, we will cancel your order and refund your money.

General Information
Studio Six Art Supplies will ship worldwide from our location in Markham, Ontario, typically within 2-3 business days upon receipt of order. We ship using Canada Post safely handle your package and ensure a timely delivery. Orders shipped to Canadian addresses typically arrive within 2-7 business days to most major cities. Shipping fees are set by size, weight and region (within Canada) and out of country, and are automatically generated upon checkout. All shipping fees include basic insurance coverage and fuel surcharges. Please note that H.S.T. will be applied to all shipping charges.
All shipping charges are estimated and are generated upon checkout. All handling fees are a flat rate and is not based on weight or amount of items.
Free Shipping:
We offer free shipping to orders which are shipped within the province of Ontario, Quebec and Manitoba. The minimum dollar amount is $150.00 CAN before taxes. Orders which are overweight or oversized will be subject to an overweight/oversize surcharge and will not qualify for free shipping. If the free shipping option is not visible during check-out, your order has not been qualified for free shipping. You will be notified by Studio Six before the order is processed with the surcharge.Standard Delivery/Handling Charges
United States:
We do ship to the United States via Canada Post. Once the package passes our border USPS will deliver the package.
NOTE: The recipient is responsible for any/all duties, taxes, and fees (if any) relating to all international orders (i.e. shipping outside of Canada).
International:
We do ship internationally.

Local Orders:
If you are local to Studio Six Art Supplies , please choose the "Pick Up" option during check-out.
Please Note:
- Deliveries are made on business days, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
- Statutory holidays may add an extra day to delivery times.
- If we cannot fulfill your order within 3 business days, we will notify you via email to let you know.
- Customers will be provided with a delivery confirmation number via email once their order has been shipped. In case of a delay we will notify you by email.
- Special orders such as “made-to-order,” Personalized, or Drop Ship (orders shipped directly from our suppliers), may take longer to arrive. Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery. These items will be shipped separately from any other item(s) ordered at the same time and will arrive in a separate box.
- Our shipping charges to Canada and USA are a flat fee per order, not per item.
- Items shipped outside of Canada will be delivered via Canada Post with one flat fee.
- When sending to more than one destination, separate orders must be placed.
- Certain heavy or oversized items cannot be shipped outside Canada.
Delivery Surcharge
Because some items are bulky and heavy, our cost to ship them is higher than for other items. Therefore, these large items may have a delivery surcharge which is applied during checkout; this Oversized Charge is in addition to our regular delivery charges, which are listed under Standard Delivery Charges above. Please note that although some of the larger items do appear to contain significant shipping costs, we do our best to only pass a portion of our actual shipping costs onto our customers. A delivery surcharge on an item will be clearly outlined in their respective product descriptions.
Clearance
All clearance items are FINAL sale. No returns, exchanges or refunds will be accepted on any items purchased at clearance pricing.
Backorders
Items which are not in stock or unavailable during the time which an order has been placed will be cancelled. Studio Six Art Supplies strives to keep all items in stock however if an item is not in stock the customer will be notified by e-mail. We do not keep any backorders and customers will have to re-order once they are in stock.
Returns
All returns must be made within 10 days upon receiving the order. The customer is responsible for shipping costs when returning a product/s and must provide Studio Six Art Supplies with a tracking number. Items must be in original condition and will not be accepted if damaged or not in the original condition. If a customer received free shipping and require any items to be returned, the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs/fees. No refunds will be given on original shipping charges/fees. No refunds on items will be given until orders are returned to Studio Six Art Supplies. A restocking fee of 10% of the subtotal of all items/goods/products purchased will be charged if the return does not comply with Studio Six Art Supplies return policy. Gift cards are non-refundable and not returnable. Special orders and custom products and drop shipments are non-refundable and not returnable.
Incorrect Shipping Information
If a package is returned to Studio Six Art Supplies due to an incorrect shipping address provided by a customer or due to an unclaimed package, the customer will be responsible for return shipping costs/fees as well as the redelivery cost/fees.
Failed Attempted Delivery
If a package or parcel has attempted delivery and no one is home, a notice card will left for the customer. It is the customers responsibility to pick up the parcel within the time frame indicated on the notice. If the parcel is not picked up during this time frame the item will be sent back to Studio Six and the customer will be responsible for all redelivery costs, including the return and re-shipment of the parcel.
Refusal of Delivery
Any order refused is charged a $10.00 fee and the customer is responsible for any other costs that are incurred during the delivery process.
Damaged Items
Studio Six Art Supplies is committed to providing the best quality merchandise from reputable manufacturers who stand behind the quality of their products. In addition, we make every effort to ensure that your purchases are delivered in good condition. However, in the event you receive a damaged item, please contact us within 2 business days of receipt of merchandise to report the problem. A customer service representative will advise you how to quickly and effectively address your concern. Please, do not ship your product back to us or to the manufacturer prior to contacting Studio Six Art Supplies.
